Deborah, Rikke and I arrived in the morning in Nairobi. We landed after a 40 minute flight with Jambojet, and proceeded directly to a meeting with the organization WEEE Centre, which helps with the collection and sorting of e-waste. It is an organization we can work with in the future.
The following morning we went on safari, and although the weather was not that good and the animals had chosen to hide inside the bushes, we still managed to see crocodiles, rhinos, buffaloes and antelopes. In the evening we met for a dinner with our lawyer, Rebecca and our local consultant, Miriam.
The next morning, our colleague, Kenneth, arrived in Nairobi. The whole day was packed with meetings in Nairobi. First we had to visit Strathmore University, then meet with our lawyer, then meet with the bank and finally meet with our consultant. It was a couple of busy days in the city, but also with time to experience a little cultural along the way.
The next stop on the trip is Arusha in Tanzania.
